چکیده
Raspberry ketone (RK) has high commercial value in the food and healthcare industries. A biological route to this flavour compound is an attractive prospect, considering need meet consumer demands sustainable goals; however, it yet become industrial reality. In work, fungal production of raspberry compounds (RC) via submerged fermentation Nidula niveo-tomentosa was characterized flask, stirred-tank reactor (STR), panel bioreactor (PBR), fluidized bed (FBR) configurations. The results indicate that resulted larger, floccose pellets accompanied by maximum titres 20.6 mg/L RK 50.9 RC. with impeller mixing yielded compact elliptical pellets, induced highest volumetric productivity 2.0 mg L−1 day−1, showed selectivity 0.45. While differing strategies had clear effects on pellet morphology, presented a more direct positive relationship cultivation conditions, appropriate aeration favour alcohol (RA). Overall, paper highlights importance design fermentation, gives insight into green bioproduction value-added natural compounds.

Lab-Scale Production of Bacillus atrophaeus’ Spores by Solid State Fermentation in Different Types of Bioreactors
Studies were conducted to evaluate Bacillus atrophaeus spores’ production by solid-state fermentation (SSF) using sugarcane bagasse as support and soybean molasses as substrate at lab-scale in column bioreactors (forced aeration), plastic bags and Erlenmeyer flasks (aeration by diffusion). Different moisture contents (84%, 86% and 88%; 89%, 91% and 93%) and aeration rates (30mL/min, 45mL/min, 6...
متن کاملStatistical Optimization of Arachidonic Acid Production by Mortierella alpina CBS 754.68 in Submerged Fermentation
Arachidonic acid is an essential fatty acid in human nutrition. In the present study, production of arachidonicacid by Mortierella alpina CBS 754.68 was evaluated in submerged fermentation. The fermentation variableswere selected in accordance with the Plackett-Burman (PB) design and further optimized via response surface methodology (RSM). Five significant variables, namely glucose...
متن کاملProduction of Isoamylase from Rhizopus oryzae in Submerged Fermentation
This work mainly focus on factors relevant for improvement of enzyme hydrolysis by using Rhizopus oryzae MTCC 9642 in submerged fermentation. Several cultural conditions were examined to access their effect in optimizing enzyme production. The Rhizopus oryzae PR7 MTCC 9642 showed best growth at 28°C within a broad pH range of 6.0 to 10.0 with an optimal temperature and pH of isoamylase synthesi...
متن کاملAnti-obese action of raspberry ketone.
Raspberry ketone (4-(4-hydroxyphenyl) butan-2-one; RK) is a major aromatic compound of red raspberry (Rubus idaeus). The structure of RK is similar to the structures of capsaicin and synephrine, compounds known to exert anti-obese actions and alter the lipid metabolism. The present study was performed to clarify whether RK helps prevent obesity and activate lipid metabolism in rodents. To test ...
متن کاملProduction of Itaconic Acid through Submerged Fermentation Employing Different Species of Aspergillus
Itaconic acid was best produced by fungal species than bacterial species. The A. niger and A. terreus were known to be the best species for itaconic acid production among the different fungal species studied. However, there was no comprehensive study on using latest technologies for increasing the productivity at industrial level and it was not properly established. By keeping this in view, the...
